Dll virus – Fast and effective treatment

One of the most important parts of your OS is the Dll (Dynamic link library). It contains executable code that performs one or several functions, which compiled, linked and stored separately from the different processes that use it. Some viruses can infect these important files of your system so that your antivirus will not be able to detect them, that’s why viruses feel free in your system, using your computer resources. Dll file can include all the information from account data to scripts that help some applications to run. In the case when a virus infects Dll file, some application or even all the applications suffer from it. You should remove Dll virus before it infects other Dll files or destroy them.

Dll file can be used by several different programs simultaneously. The benefits of existing Dll files are in the fact that they don’t load into RAM and by this way they spare CPU. It is very convenient system when instead of using numerous files that every program should contain, the programs use one particular Dll file that run the operation for every program. There are different viral programs, for example browser hijackers and browser plug-ins that usually exist in Dll files and can change your system settings in order to let the hackers to get the access to your computer.
In order to remove Dll virus you can run Microsoft’s Malicious Software Removal Tool. To do it, follow the instructions:

1. Click Start, then select Run
2. Type MRT in the line and press Enter. (If the repair tool is lost or corrupted to some reason, then you can download a new copy of it from the Internet)
3. Click “Next” and select “Full Scan‘. Possibly it will take too much time, but it is the best way to remove Dll virus from your computer.
4. Click “Next” and wait for the end of the scanning process. The utility will find the virus.
5. Follow the instructions of the utility, then click “Finish”
6. Reboot your computer.

There is one more instruction for Dll Virus Removal. You can use your antivirus program to scan your computer, but after that you should the restoration of the system. If this method will not work in Normal Mode, then repeat it in Safe Mode. The restoration of the system should be done obligatory, because more often than not the antivirus deletes the malicious program together with the Dll file that was infected.

You can also try to solve this problem manually. You can try to unregister spyware Dll files, but remember that is very dangerous if you are not an experienced user. If you will unregister an incorrect Dll file, then it can cause the crash of your OS. Some important data can be lost because of your mistake, that’s why you should do the backup and set the System Restore Point. So, firstly you should detect the infected Dll file with any good antivirus. Unregister only infected file. So, follow the instructions:

1. Open the Command Prompt, type there CMD and click OK.
2. Find the necessary Dll path and type cd in order to change the existent location. Then hit the “space” button.
3. Insert the path (wholly) in the Dll file and press Enter.
4. In the directory where you want to remove Dll, type “regsvr32 /u [DLL_NAME]” and press Enter.

If the file was unregister successfully, then you will get the message about it. If you want to return the action back, then type “regsvr32 [DLL_NAME]” and your action will be revoked.
